Overview
- Authorities confirmed that the regular Hoy No Circula schedule applied on Tuesday June 30 for vehicles with pink stickers and plates ending in 7 or 8.
- On Wednesday July 1 the program continued in its ordinary mode and restricted cars with red stickers and plates ending in 3 or 4, affecting vehicles with holograms 1 and 2.
- Environmental monitors reported localized "bad" air at some stations but IMECA levels stayed below the thresholds that trigger Fase 1 or Fase 2 contingency measures, so the double Hoy No Circula was not reactivated since April 26.
- The restriction runs daily from 05:00 to 22:00 in Mexico City and 18 adjoining municipalities, exemptions include holograms 00 and 0 and electric or hybrid vehicles, and violations carry fines of about 20–30 UMA plus possible impoundment.
