Overview
- The Hoy No Circula program is operating under its normal rotating schedule and on Friday, June 19 restricts vehicles with blue engomado, plate endings 9 and 0, and verification hologram 1 or 2.
- Authorities enforce the restriction from 5:00 to 22:00 across the 16 alcaldías of Mexico City and in 18 contiguous State of Mexico municipalities plus the Toluca and Santiago Tianguistenco metropolitan areas.
- Exempt vehicles include electric and approved hybrid cars with hologram 0 or 00, public transport, emergency vehicles, motorcycles, vehicles with disability plates and other Sedema‑specified categories.
- Noncompliance may bring fines of 20–30 UMA (about 2,346–3,519 MXN) and possible vehicle impoundment under CDMX traffic rules.
- Air‑quality agencies have kept pollutant readings below contingency thresholds since late April, they issued the routine daily schedule for June 17–19 and will continue hourly monitoring that could re‑activate escalated measures such as a doble Hoy No Circula if pollution rises.
