Overview
- On Thursday the program followed the regular Thursday calendar so vehicles with green engomado, plates ending in 1 and 2, and hologram 1 or 2 were restricted from 05:00 to 22:00.
- The day before the program also ran normally with Wednesday restrictions for red engomado and plates ending in 3 and 4.
- The Dirección de Monitoreo Atmosférico reported acceptable to good air quality with detectable O3, NO2, SO2, CO, PM10 and PM2.5 and it is issuing hourly updates to guide any change in measures.
- Exemptions include emergency vehicles, public transport, motorcycles, vehicles for people with disabilities and electric or hybrid cars with holograms 0 or 00.
- Hoy No Circula applies across Mexico City and 18 adjacent State of Mexico municipalities and noncompliance can lead to fines of 20–30 UMA and possible vehicle impoundment, while local events or rain may still affect traffic patterns.
