Overview
- Honor announced and began selling the Magic9 Pro Max in China on Monday, September 28, with prices starting at CNY 6,499 for the 12GB/256GB model.
- The phone pairs two 200MP rear sensors (main and periscope), a 50MP ultrawide and a 55MP front camera with a 3D depth sensor, and uses Honor’s H1 imaging chip for photo and video processing.
- Honor and ARRI integrated ARRI image science into the camera pipeline with ARRI LogC3, 14 preset ARRI Looks, ARRI Wide Gamut 3 support and APV 10-bit 4:2:2 capture for up to 4K at 60fps cinema recording.
- The Magic9 Pro Max is built around flagship hardware — Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display and an 8,800mAh silicon‑carbon battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging — and offers optional pro accessories such as teleconverters and a SmallRig Mobile Video Kit.
- Honor says it will launch the phone in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Southeast Asia and other markets but has not given dates or final international specs, so buyers outside China should expect later announcements and possible hardware changes.
