Overview
- HoYoverse released full version 4.3 details on Friday, May 22, confirming the update will go live on June 1 and continue the Planarcadia story with major revelations tied to the sealed secret at the heart of Planarcadia.
- The update introduces Mortenax Blade, a new 5-star Fire Path of Nihility swordsman whose Ultimate deploys a Bounded Field that raises enemy damage taken and, while active, unlocks a Skill and a second, more powerful Ultimate.
- Blade’s kit builds Charge when allies attack, causing allied hits to debuff targets and fill a resource that triggers his Skill and restores energy, creating explicit ally-synergy mechanics for team play.
- Version 4.3 adds timed activities including the Gift of Tempered Blade event that awards a free Trailblazer outfit after obtaining Blade, first-half Warp reruns for Yao Guang and second-half reruns for Cyrene and Phainon.
- New gameplay modes include the player-designed Wispae Amusement Park and Starward Mode for Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow that award an extra 100 Stellar Jades per full clear phase, and HoYoverse also announced a July 24 Fate/stay night collaboration with Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka plus a UGREEN partnership.
