Overview
- Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched the CB750 Hornet E‑Clutch and XL750 Transalp E‑Clutch and opened bookings through BigWing and Topline dealers on Friday.
- The E‑Clutch uses an electronic actuator to operate the clutch automatically during starts, stops and gear changes while preserving the physical clutch lever for manual use.
- Both 755cc models carry new ex‑showroom Gurugram prices — CB750 Hornet at ₹10.49 lakh and XL750 Transalp at ₹13.20 lakh — reflecting roughly ₹1.27–1.39 lakh premiums over previous listings.
- The E‑Clutch hardware adds about 3 kg to kerb weight and otherwise the Hornet and Transalp remain mechanically and spec‑identical to the outgoing versions.
- Honda also refreshed the Gold Wing with a new colour and reinstated the CBR1000RR‑R Fireblade SP in its India range, continuing a phased rollout of E‑Clutch that began with the NX500 after its EICMA reveal.
