Hollywood Walk of Fame Announces 32 Honorees for Class of 2027

A cross-genre lineup mixes legacy acts and current stars, with recipients required to schedule individual star ceremonies over the next two years.

Overview

  • The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce unveiled the Class of 2027 at a press event on Thursday, July 23, at Funko Hollywood on Hollywood Boulevard.
  • The 32 honorees span motion pictures, television, recording, live performance, sports entertainment and radio and include Pedro Pascal, Keke Palmer, Lisa Kudrow, Lil Wayne, Karol G and Linkin Park.
  • Elle and Dakota Fanning will share a double star ceremony as the first sister duo to do so, and the list also includes posthumous recognition for Waylon Jennings.
  • Selections were chosen from hundreds of nominations by the Walk of Fame Selection Committee and were ratified by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on July 22.
  • Several honorees reacted on social media after the announcement and each recipient has up to two years to schedule a dedication ceremony, which the Chamber typically announces about 10 days before the event and requires a sponsor to fund the ceremony and star installation.
