Overview
- Holly Lodge Girls' College in West Derby went into lockdown on Monday after staff received a non-specific threat by email.
- Parents were told at 2:55pm that students would be kept in classrooms, with a 3:25pm update confirming it was safe to leave.
- Merseyside Police attended the site, determined there was no danger, and confirmed the message was a malicious hoax.
- Headteacher Andy Keen said the school followed police advice, praised pupils and staff, and expected normal classes to resume.
