Overview
- Hohem showed pre-production Eyepic units this week at IFA 2026 in Berlin as a three-axis handheld gimbal whose camera module magnetically detaches for wearable or mounted use.
- The compact module captures native vertical 4K at up to 60 frames per second (2160 × 3840) so creators get portrait video already framed for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- When detached the module is rated waterproof to about 10 meters and the handle retracts and locks while keeping a 1080p live preview and camera control on its 2.51-inch touchscreen from up to 10 meters away.
- Hohem also introduced two new iSteady smartphone gimbals with Apple DockKit tracking and the Mic 2 wireless audio system that supports up to four transmitters to build a multi-piece creator kit.
- Final specifications, battery life, onboard storage, tracking performance, pricing, and a firm ship date remain unannounced with Hohem targeting availability in Q1 2027.
