- Hockey Canada released the preliminary 33-player roster on Friday, July 24, listing four goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 19 forwards and noting Seattle prospect Jack O’Brien is unable to attend.
- The list includes returning contributors and top prospects such as Braeden Cootes, Caleb Malhotra, Cole Reschny, Carson Carels and Tyler Hopkins, alongside NHL-drafted or draft-eligible players tracked by team development staffs.
- Canada will play three games at the WFCU/DFCU Centre in Windsor, facing Sweden on July 29, Finland on July 30 and the United States on August 1 as part of the July 26–August 1 Showcase schedule.
