- HUL said new MRPs take effect on September 22 and that revised-price packs are being dispatched to retailers.

- The reductions follow the GST Council’s September 3 decision to lower rates and simplify slabs to 5%, 18% and 40%, which takes effect on September 22.
- Government guidance permits stickering or stamping revised MRPs on unsold inventory until December 31, 2025, requires the original price to remain visible, and mandates at least two newspaper notices plus notifications to dealers and officials.
