Hilton, Hyatt and IHG Launch Free, Survivor-Informed Anti-Trafficking Training for Hotels

PACT now hosts a standardized course to equip hotel staff to recognize, respond, report trafficking.

Overview

  • The curriculum is available at no cost through 2026 to independent owners, operators, and brands via PACT’s site at courses.wearepact.org/preventing-human-trafficking.
  • This is the first joint training initiative by Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG and it aligns with the AHLA Foundation’s No Room for Trafficking effort.
  • The program is survivor-informed, uses live-action video scenarios, and is offered in English and Spanish with PACT administering and Unboxed leading learning design.
  • Participants receive technical support, automated reminders to encourage completion, and a certificate upon passing.
  • The resource complements Marriott’s existing industry course, reported at more than 2.6 million completions since 2020, and is being promoted as hotels prepare for major U.S. events in 2026.
