Hero’s VIDA Unveils New Geometric ‘V’ Identity and Sonic System

The rebrand signals VIDA’s push to broaden beyond scooters to capture more of India’s growing electric two‑wheeler market.

Overview

  • VIDA unveiled its refreshed brand identity on July 1–2, 2026, introducing a geometric 'V' lettermark derived from Hero’s 'H' and a kinetic and electric sonic system called “The VOOM.”
  • The company said the new visual and sonic identity will roll out in a phased manner across showrooms, digital platforms, connected vehicle screens and upcoming products.
  • To mark the launch VIDA created a 35,292 sq ft logo installation using its vehicles and secured a place in the Asia Book of Records as a publicity and brand‑building exercise.
  • VAHAN registration data for H1 2026 cited in coverage show Hero MotoCorp recorded 21,812 EV registrations in June and 106,032 units in the first half of 2026, overtaking Ola Electric’s 16,144 in June and 66,052 in H1 to become the country’s fourth‑largest e‑two‑wheeler maker.
  • VIDA has expanded since 2022 from a single premium scooter to family and commuter models, the DIRT.E off‑road range and the NOVUS mobility concept, and will retain the “Powered by Hero” tag to leverage Hero’s manufacturing scale and pricing strategies that include battery‑as‑a‑service.
