Overview
- Applications are open on the UNA-SUS platform through February 19 following the nationwide call published on February 3.
- State allocations announced include 86 openings in Ceará, 22 in Amapá for Macapá, Santana and Laranjal do Jari, and 18 in Acre for Rio Branco, Cruzeiro do Sul and Brasiléia.
- The selection spans 16 priority fields, including anesthesiology, general surgery, radiology, mastology, gynecology and clinical oncology.
- Participants will work 16 hours per week in SUS services with 4 hours of guided education delivered by Proadi-SUS, Rede Ebserh and partner institutions.
- The new cohort aims to lift the current roster of 583 specialists toward roughly 1,500 under the Agora Tem Especialistas initiative focused on remote and socially vulnerable areas.
