Haryana Grants Industry Status to Vehicle Scrapping Units With New Incentive Package

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired the implementation review in Chandigarh, with industries minister Rao Narbir Singh joining via video conference.
Industries and commerce secretary Amit Agrawal said registered scrapping and recycling units qualify for capital subsidies on new projects and expansions.
Eligible units will receive reimbursement of a specified portion of the net state GST they deposit under the policy.
A Park Developers Scheme will finance Eco-Parks and Recycling Parks for the sector, and the policy reimburses stamp duty on land purchases or leases.
The rollout includes centres of excellence and funding for specialised training in government ITIs and polytechnics to build a skilled workforce.
