Hartland Road and Fairgarth Drive to Close From Feb. 2 for Utility Works

Overview

• Westmorland and Furness Council says Hartland Road in Barrow will close to vehicles from February 2 for utility works, with an anticipated duration of two months and a signed diversion in place.
• Pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be allowed through the Hartland Road works area, and the council lists Dane Avenue, Wheatclose Road, Hawcoat Lane, and Dalton Lane as the vehicle diversion.

• Part of West End Lane in Ulverston is closed until February 13 with no pedestrian or emergency access, and the U4078 The Hill in Millom is shut 8:30am–4:30pm until January 27 with pedestrian and emergency access but no suitable motorist alternative.
