Hartland Road and Fairgarth Drive to Close From Feb. 2 for Utility Works

The legal notices permit up to 18 months with restrictions only active when traffic signs are displayed.

  • In Kirkby Lonsdale, a 45‑metre section of Fairgarth Drive will close from February 2 for about five days, with pedestrian and dismounted‑cyclist access maintained and a detour via Fairgarth Drive and Fairbank (B6254).
  • Other scheduled works include a Fibrus closure on Long Lane in Barrow from January 26–28 with pedestrian and emergency access maintained and signed diversions for drivers.
  • Part of West End Lane in Ulverston is closed until February 13 with no pedestrian or emergency access, and the U4078 The Hill in Millom is shut 8:30am–4:30pm until January 27 with pedestrian and emergency access but no suitable motorist alternative.
