- Schlanger died during a mass shooting at Chabad of Bondi’s Hanukkah celebration that left him and 14 others dead, according to the publisher and news reports.
- Editors consulted Rabbi Yehoram Ulman and Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin to maintain Schlanger’s intent, and the book highlights teachings rooted in the Seven Noahide Laws with an epilogue by Ulman.
