- Hamster announced the game will launch on Thursday, August 20, 2026, with Arcade Archives 2 versions for PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2 and Arcade Archives versions for PS4 and Switch.
- Pricing is set at $16.99 for the Arcade Archives 2 build, $14.99 for the Arcade Archives build, and a $2.99 paid upgrade will let owners move from the older build to the newer one.
- The Arcade Archives 2 release adds Time Attack mode and variable refresh rate (VRR) support while both releases include Original, Hi Score and Caravan modes plus emulation conveniences such as save states and rewind.
