- Production wrapped in the Chicago area in late July with filming at locations that included Soldier Field and Halas Hall, and the production company Synthetic Cinema said crews overcame weather challenges to finish the shoot.
- Bears Care held a charity auction that awarded two winners featured walk-on roles in the movie and Hallmark will sell a Bears-themed Santa ornament; the film is set to premiere Saturday, October 17 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT and will stream next day on Hallmark Plus.
- This is the third Holiday Touchdown film produced with Skydance Sports and the NFL, following movies with the Chiefs and Bills, and it reflects Hallmark’s strategy of using team partnerships and local fan engagement to boost its Countdown to Christmas slate.
