- Air Canada revealed the rankings at a Nov. 17 ceremony in Toronto presented by American Express, where winning chefs served dishes from their menus.
- Mystic of Halifax placed first, with Montreal’s Le Violon second and Toronto’s aKin third.
- Vancouver secured four spots — Sushi Hyun Omakase (No. 4), Nero Tondo (No. 6), Sumibiyaki Arashi (No. 8) and Niwa (No. 10) — the most of any city.
- Toronto earned three entries — aKin (No. 3), Maven (No. 5) and Yan Dining Room (No. 7) — while Montreal’s Le Violon (No. 2) and Pasta Pooks (No. 9) rounded out the list.
- Now in its 24th year, the program assessed more than 30 openings through anonymous visits and rigorous scoring, with several Vancouver winners also recently recognized by the Michelin Guide.
