- HAL lodged a criminal complaint that led to an FIR registered on June 2, 2026, naming Tec Aero Devices CEO M. Sivarama Prasad under IPC sections for cheating and forgery.
- HAL’s quality audit, including a November 29, 2023 review of Axis Inspection Solutions, found that none of the 199 test reports submitted by Tec Aero Devices were issued by Axis and that Axis said its name and signatures were misused.
- The disputed documents covered tensile, hardness, break-load, shear, NDT, microstructure and salt-spray tests for parts tied to the Tejas Mk1A programme and were submitted between February and September 2023.
