Haase’s Eastalent Audi Holds Prologue Benchmark at Spa
Variable wet then dry running at the two-day official test revealed trim, tyre and setup priorities teams must finalise before the late‑June Spa 24 Hours.
Overview
- Christopher Haase set the fastest lap of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa Prologue with a 2:16.535 that remained the overall benchmark after the two-day, 16-hour test.
- Porsche crews produced most of the quickest afternoon times and finished extremely close to Haase, with Dorian Boccolacci’s Boutsen VDS Porsche just 0.042 seconds slower.
- Running was disrupted by rain that slowed morning sessions but allowed much faster dry-afternoon laps, and Ayhancan Güven topped the final session in the Schumacher CLRT Porsche.
- The main on-track interruption was a Blanchimont crash for Mohamad Afiq Yazid and 59 of the 70 cars entered for the race took part in the Prologue.
- Teams confirmed late entries including Schumacher CLRT’s all-factory Porsche line-up and will use Prologue data on tyre choice, car trim and wet-to-dry setup to complete final preparations for the Spa 24 Hours.
