Gwinnett Police Release Forensic Sketch in Norcross Walkway Assault

Officials are asking the public for tips to identify an uncharged suspect and help move an open investigation forward.

Overview

  • A woman was assaulted while on a morning walk near the intersection of Old Norcross Tucker Road and Glenbrook Drive on July 1, and the attacker fled on foot toward Britt Road.
  • Gwinnett County police say the suspect is a light-skinned Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build and short black hair faded on the sides with a curly top.
  • Investigators worked with a Georgia Bureau of Investigation forensic artist to produce a composite sketch and publicly released the image and description on July 13 to solicit community leads.
  • Authorities asked anyone with information to call the Gwinnett County Police Department at (770) 513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477 and noted that tips can lead to a reward and help identify the uncharged suspect.
  • The release of the sketch seeks new leads after initial follow-up and has left neighbors feeling unsafe, so police say tips could both advance the case and reassure the local community.
