Gurugram Police Book Woman Over ₹3-Crore Kidney-Donation Cyber Fraud Using Medanta Name

Police are tracing a cyber gang that used fake Medanta pages to solicit fees.

  • Medanta said it has no link to the accused and does not run any organ-trade platform, noting the use of a forged staff ID and manipulated webpages in the scheme.
  • Gurugram police said a woman and her associates have been booked for cyber fraud, investigators are tracing others in the group, and arrests are expected.
