- A traffic dispute that began earlier on Route 228 ended in the Hingham Public Library parking lot when a passenger fired at least two shots, according to police reports from Thursday afternoon.
- The person who fired stayed at the scene, suffered a non-life-threatening injury, was taken to a hospital, held a license to carry and had a recovered revolver, police said.
