Gujarat ATS Arrests Punjab-Wanted Suspect in Heroin and Arms Case

  • Rehmat Ali, identified as Rehmat Ali Sheikh, was detained at an embroidery factory in Ahmedabad’s Rakhial area.
  • He is wanted in a Punjab case alleging transport of heroin, hand grenades and pistols from the Punjab–Pakistan border in January.
  • Punjab Police had earlier arrested two suspects and seized 42.9 kg of heroin, four hand grenades, a Star-mark pistol and 46 live cartridges.
