  • A traffic radar on the N-234 near Soria clocked a car at 192 km/h in a 90 km/h zone.
  • The Traffic Investigation and Analysis Group, known as GIAT, sent the case to Investigating Court No. 3 of Soria under Criminal Code article 379.1.
  • That article allows three to six months in prison, fines or community service, and a one to four year driving ban.
  • A separate control in Zamora turned into a chase after a driver ignored orders to stop on the CL-612.
  • The driver crashed off the road near Roales del Pan, showed signs of drug use, refused tests, and was detained on counts of drugged driving, refusal to test, reckless driving, and assault on officers.
