Grupo Bimbo Opens MiBIMBO Interactive Museum in Mexico City for 80th Anniversary

Part of every ticket supports Mexican black bear conservation through the Huellas program with SEMARNAT.

Overview

  • Located at Isabel la Católica 51 in the Centro Histórico, the museum is now open to the public with Tuesday–Thursday hours of 9:00–18:00 and Friday–Sunday hours of 10:00–19:00.
  • More than 80 interactive stations feature virtual reality production-line tours, delivery-truck driving simulators, guided baking workshops, and tastings of freshly made mantecadas.
  • The collection showcases decades of brand history, including original sketches of the Osito Bimbo by Ana Mata and extensive promotional memorabilia.
  • Director Karina Fogel led the ribbon-cutting, and the first official visitors were the Ríos Arreola family from Zapopan, Jalisco.
  • The venue highlights production transparency, innovation, nutrition, circular economy efforts, and allocates a share of revenue to the Programa Huellas conservation initiative in collaboration with Mexico’s environment ministry.
