Green City Bus Driver Held After Guwahati Crash Kills Two Young Men

• A Green City Bus allegedly struck a scooter on MG Road near Riverside in Fancy Bazar, and the collision left two youths dead after the crash on Friday, July 3.
• The victims were identified as Akash Boro and Jyotirmoy Das, both from Kharghuli, with Akash declared brought dead at GMCH and Jyotirmoy dying later at a private hospital.
• Police registered a case at Panbazar Police Station and have taken the bus driver, named by reports as Nabin Das, into custody while a bus handyman is reported to be absconding and is being sought.
