Government to Release R$3.9 Billion in Second FGTS Tranche for Dismissed Saque-Aniversário Workers Starting Feb. 2

Overview

• Payments run from February 2 to 12 and will reach 822,559 eligible people, with most credits made automatically to bank accounts registered in the FGTS app.
• Those without a registered account can withdraw at Caixa ATMs, lottery houses or Caixa Aqui using the citizen card and password, with up to R$1,500 via password only or up to R$3,000 by biometrics.
• The measure, published on December 23, applies to opt-ins whose contracts ended between January 1, 2020 and December 23, 2025, provided there is balance in the linked account.
