- A written reply by Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh to the Rajya Sabha disclosed 3,414 deportations via Washington through mid-December 2025, with additional counts logged by New York (47), Atlanta (31), Houston (234), San Francisco (49) and Seattle (31).
- Officials said deportations occur only after clear verification of Indian nationality and that New Delhi remains in regular dialogue with Washington on the use of restraints, especially for women and children.
