Government Launches Online Auction of Three Former Procrear Properties

The move follows an audit that cited delays, cost overruns and habitability issues.

Overview

  • Resolutions 498/2025, 499/2025 and 500/2025 published in the Official Gazette authorize public auctions as part of the Procrear wind-down.
  • The first three sites are Estación Buenos Aires (CABA) with a US$2,977,941 base, Parque Federal (Santa Fe) at US$3,649,310.34 and Paraná (Entre Ríos) at US$966,187.72, with values set by the National Appraisal Tribunal.
  • Auctions will run in electronic format via the COMPR.AR/subast.ar platforms, with dates and times to be posted on the portal and oversight by the appraisal authority.
  • Participants must register online and meet conditions that include an Argentine legal and electronic domicile, proof of tax and social-security compliance, a lawful-funds declaration and a participation guarantee.
  • Parque Federal comprises 198 homes at roughly 33% completion, so officials and local housing authorities signal a focus on developers, and the government says more auctions in other localities will be announced in the coming weeks.
