Overview
- Govee launched three Matter-compatible floor lamps Thursday, with sales live on Govee.com and Amazon at $169.99 for Floor Lamp 3 and $129.99 for both the Lantern Floor Lamp and the Floor Lamp 3 Lite.
- Floor Lamp 3 is the new flagship that targets truer pastel and natural tones using LuminBlend+, outputs up to 2,100 lumens, spans a 1,000K–10,000K white range, and packs 288 LEDs with a 170° double-sided wash and a redesigned illuminated base.
- The Lantern Floor Lamp introduces a Halo Gradient ring effect for soft color transitions, delivers up to 1,400 lumens across 320 square feet, offers the same wide white range, and adds a tap-to-cycle control on the top.
- All three work with Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings through Matter, yet third-party controls cover only basics like on/off, brightness, and whole-lamp color, so advanced animations and zones still require the Govee app.
- Both new designs include AI Lighting Bot 2.0 for conversational scene creation and DaySync for circadian schedules, with coverage noting Govee’s color-accuracy claims and indicating independent tests have not yet confirmed them.
