Google’s Pixel 11 Family and Pixel Watch 5 Reach Stores

The launch tests Google’s software-first strategy by putting on-device Gemini AI on new Tensor G6 chips with Titan M3 security and seven years of updates.

Overview

  • The Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 went on sale Thursday in dozens of markets including the US, UK, Canada, India and parts of Europe with units available through the Google Store, major carriers and big retailers.
  • All Pixel 11 models run Google’s new Tensor G6 system-on-chip and Titan M3 security module to drive Gemini-powered on-device AI features such as live transcription, context-aware suggestions and camera-assisted tools.
  • The Pro phones add hardware changes that include a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultrawide, 48MP 5x telephoto with high-zoom modes and a HiLight LED ring that signals notifications and Gemini activity.
  • Pixel Watch 5 ships with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a reported 'Accelerated' W5 Gen 2 chipset and a new Breathing Emergency Detection feature that can call for help if it detects a breathing crisis.
  • Google set higher list prices for the line (US prices start around $899 for the Pixel 11 up to $1,899 for the Pro Fold) but carriers and retailers launched aggressive trade-in and plan deals that can cut costs substantially or make phones free for qualifying buyers and will shape early uptake and real-world value.
