- Google.org is granting $8 million to four government-aligned AI Centres of Excellence at IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras and IIT Ropar focused on health, urban governance, education and agriculture.

- Google also announced a 150 MW solar partnership with ReNew Energy in Rajasthan, while Indian officials framed the CoE funding as part of a coordinated national AI research mission.
