Google Rolls Out Gemini AI Overviews to Gmail for Workspace

- Two versions are available: free thread summaries in long email chains, plus inbox-question answers for paid Google AI Pro or Ultra on consumer accounts and for eligible Workspace plans.
- The feature is on by default only when admins enable Gemini for Workspace and Workspace Intelligence access and when users keep Gmail smart features turned on, though anyone can opt out in settings.
