Goody King Magnetic Sets Recalled After Two Children Undergo Surgery

• The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and seller Yi Suen Commerce announced a recall of about 213,500 Goody King magnetic building cube sets after reports the cubes can crack or open and free small internal magnets.
• The recall follows at least 27 reports of cubes breaking and two confirmed cases in which children swallowed loose magnets and required surgery to remove them.
• The CPSC warned swallowed high‑powered magnets can attract to each other or metal inside the digestive tract and cause perforation, twisting, blockage, blood poisoning or death.
• The sets were sold on Amazon from January 2024 through July 2026 in 18 styles and sizes of 45–300 pieces for $17–$50, and consumers should stop using them and register with Goody King for prepaid return shipping and full refunds without receipts.
