Overview
- GMC announced the Hummer EV ICON | 25 on July 15, 2026 as a limited-run, heritage-styled special edition that will be sold in the U.S. and Canada as 2027 models later this year.
- The ICON | 25 wears a high-contrast yellow two-tone exterior and serialized dash plaques to reference the original H2’s launch color and to position the model as a collectible.
- GMC confirmed the package is available on both 2X (dual-motor) and 3X (tri-motor) pickup and SUV configurations, keeping existing Hummer EV performance traits including up to 1,160 horsepower in 3X form.
- The 2027 model year adds a standard NACS charging port for broader fast-charger access and offers vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging to let a properly equipped home draw power from the vehicle.
- GMC has not released final pricing or an official production total and reports that only 25 units will be sold are unconfirmed, so availability and cost remain open questions that will be resolved before production.
