Overview
- A disruption at the Great Lakes Water Authority’s North Service Center pump station reduced water pressure to Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Orion Township, Lake Orion, part of Oakland Township, Troy and Bloomfield Township.
- Rochester Hills issued a boil-water advisory that tells residents to boil tap water for one minute before drinking, Auburn Hills imposed a mandatory water-use restriction with possible fines or service termination, and Orion Township asked residents to voluntarily stop outdoor water use.
