Overview
- The Food Standards Agency published a Northern Ireland–specific recall after Glenisk identified possible mould growth in three flavours of Organic Baby Fromage Frais sold in 4x60g packs.
- Affected flavours are mango with apple, banana & oats; strawberry with banana, vanilla & oats; and apple, pear, carrot with oats, all carrying a use-by date of 28 May 2026.
- Consumers are told not to eat the products, should dispose of any affected packs, and can contact Glenisk at info@glenisk.com to arrange a replacement.
- Retailers have been asked to remove the specified batches from sale, and media reports named Tesco and Dunnes Stores as outlets that stocked the product.
- Mould in dairy products can pose health risks for infants, so the recall aims to prevent illness and may prompt further local checks of similar baby dairy items.
