- Body-camera video shows officers finding the panting dog in a locked vehicle with only a slightly cracked window and no food or water.
- Patrick Jones, 24, arrived, initially denied the car was his, then admitted ownership and said he kept the dog there because it could not stay at his hotel.
- Jones surrendered the animal to officers, who transferred it to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, and the dog's condition has not been disclosed.
- Glendale police say they will submit misdemeanor animal-cruelty charges for filing, Jones was not booked after leaving the scene, and the Rattlers said he had already been released from the team.
