Overview
- Platforms 1–6 will reopen on 25 March, restoring full use of platforms 1–15 for ScotRail, Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express, CrossCountry and Caledonian Sleeper services.
- Network Rail cites demolition progress and a reduced safety cordon for the decision to reopen, as Glasgow City Council confirms the fire-damaged facade has been removed and rubble clearance is under way.
- A small exclusion zone remains on the high-level concourse, keeping the Gordon Street and Union Street entrances closed.
- The Hope Street and low-level entrances are open with staff guiding passengers, and station amenities such as the main toilets and shops are returning to service with mobility support available.
- ScotRail will run its normal timetable from Wednesday, with warnings of minor alterations while trains are repositioned.
