Gideon’s Bakehouse Relaunches Spookhouse for 10th Anniversary

Demand is being managed by a controlled-release program, including timed weekend drops, purchase caps, limited merch, charity adoption events.

Overview

  • Gideon’s reopened its October Spookhouse menu for the bakery’s 10th anniversary and brought back two Limited Edition cookies — Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein — sold daily with a two-per-person limit.
  • Cake slices for Frankenstein are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays while Bride of Frankenstein slices are available Sundays and Thursdays, and whole cakes can be preordered online with the same two-slice-per-person cap in place for slices.
  • The weekend dessert program began with the Graveyard Mousse Mound released for the Oct. 3–4 weekend and will continue with a new, never-before-made dessert each weekend through Halloween; each weekend item is limited and subject to per-person limits.
  • Merchandise and collectible menus are dropping on set dates this month with the first Oct. 1 release offering limited runs (examples: 500 Ceramic Pumpkin Candles, 1,000 Adeline pins); the Cookies & Cream Nitro Cold Brew is a Disney Springs exclusive.
  • October is designated Black Cat Charity Month to benefit Liberation Cat House, capped by an adoption event and exclusive fundraising merch at the East End Market on Oct. 25, and Gideon’s is directing customers to its website and social channels for stock updates and weekly reveals.
