Overview
- Destatis reports output up 23.5% year over year on roughly 9,000 hectares as cultivated area fell 2.0%.

- Cultivated blueberries led with 17,300 tonnes (+14.4%) on 3,450 hectares (-1.4%), accounting for about 38% of area and volume.
- Red and white currants reached 9,300 tonnes (+37.3%) and black currants 5,900 tonnes (+107.4%), while raspberries declined to 6,200 tonnes (-11.1%).
- Protected area expanded to 590 hectares (+2.6%) as covered-system harvest edged down to nearly 6,500 tonnes (-2.8%), with raspberries making up 77.4% of protected area.
- Organic farms managed 32.2% of area (2,900 ha) yet produced about 6,000 tonnes (13% of total), with organic output up 43.5% despite a 2.6% area dip; aronia led organic area and blueberries led organic volume.
