- Defence Minister Boris Pistorius briefed the Bundestag defence committee on May 20 about a formal reorganisation of the Bundeswehr procurement office, the BaainBw, with phased implementation set to begin in July 2026.
- The BaainBw will replace traditional departments with a flexible, domain-aligned matrix to form agile project teams for land, air, sea, cyber, information and space work.
