- German Economy Minister Katherina Reiche arrived in Kyiv on Oct. 24 for meetings with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, as well as energy and defense firms.
- Berlin’s €60 million payment to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund will accelerate procurement of generators, energy equipment, and mobile thermal power plants.
- The sides agreed to establish a joint energy working group, expand industrial cooperation, and hold a Ukrainian–German business forum in Berlin in December.
- Reiche said Germany will help restore damaged power systems and connect German technology companies, including drone specialists, with Ukrainian industry.
