Overview

  • An Ice Storm Warning remains in effect through 10 a.m. Monday for north central and northeast Georgia, and officials are urging residents to stay off the roads.
  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is open with deicing operations, yet FlightAware reports more than 1,000 cancellations led by Delta and its regional affiliate.
  • Statewide power outages have climbed above 80,000, with Georgia Power saying over 10,000 personnel are engaged and shelters open in Rabun, Walker, White and Towns counties.
