Overview
- The official trailer for the restored concert film was released Sept. 1–2, 2026, and distributors announced Crosswalk will handle North America while Universal Pictures Content Group will manage international release.
- Longtime collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin assembled and directed the 113-minute film from two nights filmed at Paris’ Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on 35mm with a 14-camera shoot and restored the footage for premium-format theaters.
- Each theatrical screening will open with Mary McCartney’s short Finding Faith, which uses previously unreleased interview audio and unseen Herb Ritts photos to provide behind-the-scenes context for the Faith era.
- Sony Music will release an accompanying 18-track live album drawn from previously unreleased performances on the tour to support the film and let listeners access audio unavailable for nearly four decades.
- Release timing remains unsettled in coverage: most outlets report a Dec. 11, 2026 opening while at least one reputable outlet lists Nov. 6, 2026, as the cinema date, and some venues are expected to offer IMAX or other premium screenings.
