Geely Launches Operations in Spain With Two Electrified SUVs Targeted for H1 2026

The Chinese automaker is building a Spanish dealer network backed by its Horse Powertrain venture in Madrid.

  • Fast charging for the E5 is quoted at 30% to 80% in about 20 minutes, with the brand emphasizing safety, durability and value-for-money positioning.
  • The Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid delivers a combined 262 hp using a high-efficiency engine from Horse Powertrain in Spain and offers 18.4 kWh or 29.8 kWh batteries with a total WLTP range of 943 km.
  • Final pricing, exact on-sale dates, the confirmed electric-only range for the Starray EM-i and the full dealer rollout schedule have not yet been disclosed.
