Overview
- Geely confirmed mid-July that the EX2 will go on sale in the UK on 25 August with a starting price of £20,990 for the entry Pro trim.
- The model is offered with two battery choices: a 35kWh pack rated for up to 155 miles and a 47kWh pack rated for up to 214 miles, and all versions use rear-wheel drive.
- Three trim levels — Pro, Max and Ultra — are priced at £20,990, £23,490 and £25,490 respectively and step up equipment such as a 360-degree camera, heated seats and two-tone paint on the top trim.
- Standard technical features include DC rapid charging to 80kW, a 6.6kW onboard AC charger, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assist safety systems.
- The EX2 joins Geely’s growing UK line-up after the EX5 and Starray and, by offering mainstream range and modern kit at lower prices, could widen affordable EV choices and add competitive pressure on rivals such as the Renault 5 and BYD Dolphin.
